I'm Will Bryant,

Offensive GA for the Mustangs. This is My Story.


Will Bryant is in his second season at SMU and first as a Graduate Assistant working with the offense. Bryant joined the staff as a volunteer offensive assistant in 2015 before being promoted.

As a volunteer assistant, Bryant assisted the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach with quarterback and receiver development. Bryant was also responsible for helping create game plans, blitz-report books, scouting reports and tip sheets for players and coaches. On gameday, he charted opponent coverages and kept drive charts.

Before coming to the Hilltop, Bryant was a student teacher at Irons Middle School and Frenship High School. During his tenure, he provided skills instruction and motivational coaching for sixth through 12th grade football, basketball, track and physical education classes. He also helped teach and create proper accommodations for special-needs students in physical education.

In 2015, Bryant played with the Amarillo Venom professional Arena Football team. With the Amarillo Venom, he saw action in three games, recording three catches for 30 yards and two tackles. During high school, he was a two-year varsity football wide-receiver/tight end. He was named an All-District tight end in 2010.

Bryant received his B.S. in Exercise Sports Science from Texas Tech.
