• Native of Chelsea, Alabama.
• Played quarterback at Middle Tennessee from 2005-08 and was a team captain his senior year.
• Also played for Middle Tennessee baseball team in 2008.
• Spent two seasons as the starting quarterback for the Parma Panthers of the Italian Football League.
• Worked together with Mustangs Head Coach Chad Morris while both were assistants at Clemson.
• In 2014, helped the Tigers to a top-20 ranking and aided in the development of quarterback Deshaun Watson.
• Married to wife, Abby, with a baby girl named Charlie.
