My Highlights.

• Played his college career at Stephen F. Austin, while earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees in education.
• Began coaching career at Big Sandy High School in 1989.
• Served as head coach at Gilmer High School for 15 seasons (2000-14), amassing three state championships, 12 district titles, and a 175-26 overall record.
• Arrived on the Hilltop in 2017 after spending two seasons as tight ends and special teams coach at Texas, where he mentored Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year Michael Dickson .
• Wife, Cari, and two sons, Jordan and Jake, and one daughter, Jaci.
