Marc Soltis Bio
I'm Marc Soltis,
Strength Coach for the Mustangs. This is My Story.
Marc Soltis joined the SMU Women's Basketball staff in September of 2013. He serves as the lead strength & conditioning coach for women's basketball, men's swimming & diving, as well as assisting with football and men's soccer. In 2015, Marc took on an expanded roll with the football team.
Prior to his arrival in Dallas, Marc served as graduate assistant strength coach at Marshall University, working primarily with men's and women's basketball as well as servicing several other Olympic sports. Prior to his time at Marshall, he interned with the Baylor Athletic Performance staff, learning from one of the best staffs in the country.
Marc received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Iowa State University after playing football for the Cyclones. He received another Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health from Iowa State in 2012, and is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Marshall University. Marc is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, and USA Weightlifting.
Marc and his wife live in Dallas.
