Your Gift

How is my contribution(s) used?
Your contribution to the Department of Athletics may be utilized in a number of different ways to benefit the goals of Chattanooga Athletics. Gifts made to the Mocs Club Annual Giving program are used to cover the costs of athletic grant- in-aid provided to our student-athletes. Athletic grant-in-aid encompasses tuition, books, and room and board.
Major gift and capital project contributions are used to create endowments that support our student-athletes, and to forward the overall goals of the department through the construction and renovation of athletic facilities.
Is my contribution tax deductible?
Yes. Your charitable contribution to the Department of Athletics is tax deductible, excluding the value of the benefits received. For more information about taxable benefits, please contact us.
Will I receive a gift receipt?
Yes. You can expect to receive a detailed gift (tax) receipt in a timely manner.
What are the deadlines for making a donation to qualify for football tickets and parking?

Priority Points

What is the priority point system?
The UTC Mocs Club Priority Point System provides a systematic and fair process of calculating generosity and commitment in order to reward athletics donors and season ticket holders. This system also provides an incentive for beginning, renewing, and increasing participation as an athletic donor and season ticket holder.
How does this affect me?
Priority Points are awarded to establish “rank” order among those who support UTC Athletics through philanthropic gifts, purchasing season tickets, and broadening the support base through referrals. The points program facilitates the equitable allocation of “high-demand” benefits such as tickets and parking within the various gift levels.
How can I activate my account and begin accruing points?
To activate priority points and have them count toward UTC Mocs Club benefits, you must make an annual gift each year. The absence of an annual gift to UTC Athletics renders your points inactive for that particular year.
When are priority points calculated?
Priority points will be calculated based upon donations received by July 1st for football and men's basketball. The updated priority point totals as of these dates will be used to calculate benefits for football and men's basketball.
