I'm very happy to be back in Tigerland. I am looking forward to joining up again and continuing my relationship with Coach Jones and working with the staff at LSU to build on the tradition and legacy of the LSU basketball program.

Personal Highlights

  •  Has been involved in over 550 NCAA victories including 18 postseason appearances (11 NCAA, 7 NIT)
  •  Recognized by Rivals.com and various national sites as one of the nation's top recruiters
  •  Recipient of the NABC Distinguished Years of Service Award
  •  While previously at LSU, he helped LSU sign a consensus top-5 recruiting class for 2013-14 season that included NBA Draft Picks Jarell Martin (25th overall) and Jordan Mickey (33rd overall).
  •  At Georgetown, he recruited and developed the 2012-13 National Player of Year, Otto Porter, before he was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.
  •  Helped coach 3 conference championship teams while his players have achieved many accolades including: 9 All-Americans, 2 Conference Players of the Year, 3 Newcomers of the Year and 45 All-Conference Team Selections
  •  Played two seasons at Pan American University and led the Broncs to their first NCAA postseason berth in school history. Prior to that he played two seasons at Three Rivers CC and led the Raiders to the 1979 JUCO National Championship.
  •  Married to wife, Valerie, with two daughters, Katrina and Robin.
